Our goal
To bring together all over the world lovers of classic sailing, sensitive to the principles of sustainability and respect for the person and Creation and, in particular, the owners, crews and friends of Classic Yachts, who wish to bring regattas and sailing rallies closer to the universe of young people, families and territories, combining the culture of beauty with history. To create a classic fleet that is a messenger of values, where the common goal is not to have, but to be: in behavior, inclusion and sharing. In particular, our goal is to create a small fleet for a high cultural heritage: a 'Royal Heritage'. Owners and enthusiasts of vintage and classic yachts, who also use their sailing ships for social action, as keepers and ambassadors of these values towards the community and the new generations.
An important tool for social action are the new frontiers of classic sails, in particular those models presented between the 70s and 90s, the heart of the historic I.O.R. – International Offshore Rule period, with their particularities and style.
Our identity
Born from the passion of owners, classic sailing experts and friends, the association was founded in Italy on August 4, 2024, the day of Stella Maris. At its inception, in particular, it had focused on aggregating the specific sector of owners of boats designed by a famous New Zealand architect for the famous Finnish ‘cygnus’, productive excellence of IOR sails. After this start, maintaining its values of social action, the association has now expanded to the entire universe of vintage sails and IOR: the goal has therefore developed towards the valorisation of yachting as a tool for owners and crews for the cultural growth of the community and the territory.
Sharing the beauty of these objects of art and the history of sailing especially with young people, to offer training and stimulate new professionals in the sea.
The association carries out its activities through collaborations with various bodies. It has its own registered office in Turin (Italy) mainly dedicated to convivial and training events and may have other affiliated delegations around the world.
Who can join?
Registration is free and open to all. You can apply for registration by filling out the appropriate form. Members can be shipowners, skippers, crews or simply enthusiasts and friends who subscribe to the principles and objectives of the association's commitment.
It is also possible to receive information and detailed programs of the association by filling out the appropriate request form.
To register it is not necessary to show certificates of your boat, but it will only be necessary to fill out the information form in its entirety.
By subscribing you participate in the social activities planned in the planned events and you can access some reserved services and our blog, created to encourage discussion and proposals for activities and to support owners, crews ed amici.

The association participates with its members in various events, rallies and regattas during which carries out activities of social and educational value.
Being registered with your sailing ship means being part of a 'sustainability and social fleet', i.e. a team of classic and vintage boats that share the desire to spread the beauty of their yachts, together with the dissemination of the culture of sailing and respect for Creation, through events dedicated to families and schools.
We are very interested in collaborating with the institutions, Yacht Club and Marina and with other communities, associations and organizations, to design and plan activities together for the territory and stakeholders.
