Technical specifications
A further development of the 441 and 42, the project aims to optimize the changes made to the timing of the IOR regulations, in particular to balance performance with respect to use in all weather conditions and comfort, as well as to facilitate their cruising even with a small crew.
The design includes a hull speed of 7.71 knots (14.28 km/h) and a PHRF handicap of 81-96 for the fin keel version and 102 for the reduced draft version.
The Swan 391 'Full cry' won the Rolex Swan Atlantic in 1990 driven by Robert Compton with the enviable performance of first place both in time compensated against IMS handicaps and in total points.
